A convex optimisation approach to robust observer-based H∞ control design of linear parameter-varying delayed systems

چکیده
Abstract: This paper presents a convex optimisation method for observer-based control design of LPV neutral systems. Utilising the polynomials parameter-dependent quadratic functions and a suitable change of variables, the required sufficient conditions with high precision for the design of a desired observer-based control are established in terms of delay-dependent parameter-independent linear matrix inequalities. An observer-based controller guaranteeing asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system and satisfying a prescribed level of performance to the LPV neutral system with constant delay parameters is developed. A Lyapunov-Krasovskii method underlies the observer-based control design. A numerical example with simulation results illustrates the effectiveness of the methodology. ∞ H

Design of Observer-based H∞ Controller for Robust Stabilization of Networked Systems Using Switched Lyapunov Functions
In this paper, H∞ controller is synthesized for networked systems subject to random transmission delays with known upper bound and different occurrence probabilities in the both of feedback (sensor to controller) and forward (controller to actuator) channels. A remote observer is employed to improve the performance of the system by computing non-delayed estimates of the sates. The closed-loop s...
متن کاملRobust Fuzzy Gain-Scheduled Control of the 3-Phase IPMSM
This article presents a fuzzy robust Mixed - Sensitivity Gain - Scheduled H controller based on the Loop -Shaping methodology for a class of MIMO uncertain nonlinear Time - Varying systems. In order to design this controller, the nonlinear parameter - dependent plant is first modeled as a set of linear subsystems by Takagi and Sugeno’s (T - S) fuzzy approach. Both Loop - Shaping methodology and...
متن کاملAn LPV Approach to Sensor Fault Diagnosis of Robotic Arm
One of the major challenges in robotic arms is to diagnosis sensor fault. To address this challenge, this paper presents an LPV approach. Initially, the dynamics of a two-link manipulator is modelled with a polytopic linear parameter varying structure and then by using a descriptor system approach and a robust design of a suitable unknown input observer by means of pole placement method along w...
متن کاملA Robust Adaptive Observer-Based Time Varying Fault Estimation
This paper presents a new observer design methodology for a time varying actuator fault estimation. A new linear matrix inequality (LMI) design algorithm is developed to tackle the limitations (e.g. equality constraint and robustness problems) of the well known so called fast adaptive fault estimation observer (FAFE). The FAFE is capable of estimating a wide range of time-varying actuator fault...
متن کاملRobust gain-scheduled control of linear parameter-varying systems with uncertain scheduling parameters in the presence of the time-invariant uncertainties
In this paper, a new approach is presented to design a gain-scheduled state-feedback controller for uncertain linear parameter-varying systems. It is supposed that the state-space matrices of them are the linear combination of the uncertain scheduling parameters. It is assumed that the existed uncertainties are of type of time-invariant parametric uncertainties with specified intervals. Simulta...
